01Who we are

Spring Arbor Preceptor is an independent placement service. It isn't part of, run by or endorsed by Spring Arbor University; the university's name tells you whose students we serve.

02Our role

• We search for preceptors and sites that match your program, state and timing, and help you prepare the clinical agreement, affiliation and preceptor verification paperwork.
• SAU faculty approve preceptors and sites; we don't.
• We can't promise that a preceptor will accept, that a site will sign by a date, or that SAU will approve a placement.
• We don't complete coursework, sign documents for anyone, or log hours for you.

03Your part

• Give us accurate details about your program, license and state.
• Follow SAU's rules, your course requirements and your site's policies.
• Keep SAU's clinical compliance requirements current.

04Quotes and payment

If you go ahead, you receive a written quote and terms before you commit. Those terms govern payment, changes and refunds, including any current offer. Fees a site or preceptor charges under SAU's own rules are separate from ours.

05The information on this site

Our guides describe SAU's clinical process as SAU publishes it, checked on the date shown. SAU can change its rules; SAU's nursing faculty and current catalog have the final word.

06Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, including a delayed term or graduation, arising from a site's, preceptor's or school's decision. Consumer rights that can't be limited are unaffected.

07Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the day it's posted.
